Saturn Flyer helped Practice Greenhealth (formerly Hospitals for a Healthy Environment) grow from a MS Access and ColdFusion website with no content management system to an open-source based organization. In the course of working with Practice Greenhealth, we evolved from MS Access to SQL Server and from Cold Fusion to Rails on Windows. When they outgrew their Windows hosting solution we were able to migrate them to a Solaris server, PostgreSQL and Rails on Solaris.
Together we setup a Wiki, Forum, RadiantCMS, and custom association management software in Ruby on Rails on a PostgreSQL database. Each application manages user access through Sun’s Java Access Manager giving the Practice Greenhealth staff a central place to manage both staff and member access.
